Sunday Morning Update
After a warm start to the weekend, temperatures will start to mellow out a bit more this week. However, that will come along with some widespread rainfall later on.
Highs today range in the upper 70s to low 80s, with high pressure keeping us dry. As that high pressure system starts to meander south, we get more heat and humidity flowing into the area.
That heat and humidity will bring temperatures back into the low to mid 80s throughout the area, with rainfall ramping up starting Tuesday.
Thursday and Friday appear to be our wettest days this week, as an overall unsettled pattern takes hold. This rainfall will be helpful in alleviating these drought conditions.
Temperatures quickly cool down after a few cold fronts move through, giving us conditions a bit closer to what we usually see in fall.
