Alaska Division of ElectionsAlaska has various options of its 'I Voted' sticker for 2020 elections and they each pay homage to women and its native communities. Alaska redesigned its “I Voted” sticker in time to celebrate the 19th Amendment’s centennial. The artwork takes a twist from traditional “I Voted" sticker designs with a call to action instead, asking anyone reading to go out and vote.

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia residents still have time to vote in the Nov. 3 election without going to the polls on Election Day. Voters have until 5 p.m. Friday to request an absentee ballot. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by the local voter registration office by noon on Nov. 6. Voters are no longer required to give a reason to vote absentee. Registered voters may request a mailed absentee ballot online at www.elections.virginia.gov/voterInformation or can contact local voter registration offices and ask them to mail an application.

DANVILLE, Va. Election Day will look a little different in Danville Tuesday thanks to the coronavirus. The citys registrars office is asking voters to wear a mask if they have one, though a mask is not required to vote. Election officers will limit the number of voters in each precinct to ensure voters are able to stay six feet apart and there will be markings on the floor to indicate six foot intervals. Sneeze guards will be put up between election officers and voters checking in to vote. It has been the most difficult, Danville Registrar Peggy Petty said when asked what preparing for election day has been like.

Stacey Abrams’ voting rights organization is aiming to reach Georgia voters who could be purged from the state’s election rolls as soon as next month. Fair Fight Action is mobilizing hundreds of volunteers coming out of Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta to make calls to potentially affected voters. Fair Fight Action is suing the secretary of state, arguing in part that a “use it or lose it” stance is unconstitutional. Planned Parenthood, the Georgia NAACP and NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia are also expected to participate, and virtual phone bankers are welcome for those looking to help outside Atlanta. Georgia voters are expected to receive a notice in the mail notifying them that they have 30 days to respond before being purged.
