The Texas Inn announced Tuesday that the establishment would be celebrating its 90th birthday on Thursday with 90-cent chili dogs.

The Texas Inn is just one of many businesses selling pies for three dollars and fourteen cents this Pi Day!

A Lynchburg stable is celebrating a milestone, Texas Inn also known as the “T-Room” opened its doors exactly 89 years ago Thursday.

Any contestant who finishes receives a toilet-bowl-shaped trophy, a roll of TUMS, and a can of Febreze. The first person to finish also wins a crown and t-shirt.

The Texas Inn, also known as the T-Room, turns 86 on Monday, Oct. 11. To celebrate, they’re collecting nonperishable food to donate to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

LYNCHBURG, Va. - A Lynchburg favorite is turning 84 on Wednesday. To celebrate the occasion, Texas Inn, or the "T Room," is selling 84 cent hot dogs and hamburgers at both the downtown and Cornerstone Street locations. In addition to the 84th anniversary, the restaurant is celebrating its first full year under new ownership. But, because all good things must come to an end, there is a limit of three special hot dogs and hamburgers per customer. The Texas Inn (formerly Texas Tavern) has served more than seven million customers, 15 at a time on those legendary bar stools.

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Police are investigating a burglary at a popular Lynchburg restaurant. On Sunday at 9:02 p.m., security cameras at the Texas Inn on Main Street show a man broke a window on the 5th Street side of the building. Video shows the man climbing through the window and steal an undisclosed amount of cash from a slot machine. The man was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a maroon shirt and a purple ski mask at the time of the burglary. This is an ongoing investigation and any additional information will be released as an update to this news release.
