More than $6 billion in federal education funding remains on hold by the Trump administration and could impact programs in Southwest Virginia.
Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine announced $5,058,755 in federal funding to support infrastructure improvements at seven airports across Virginia, including Roanoke Regional Airport.
Senator Kaine is hosting an event Monday in Richmond to recognize those who have done extraordinary work in Virginia over the last year – some of whom are local, according to the Senator’s office.
