Virginia marked a milestone Monday with the opening of the Commonwealth’s first adult high school, giving residents a second chance to earn their diplomas.

Sisters Rosa and Porsche Calloway-Hudson share a common goal - earning their high school diplomas. They’re among the first students at The Excel Center, Roanoke’s newest adult high school, opening its doors today.
