But Rockbridge County returns athletes like linebacker Seamus Looney and quarterback Miller Jay this fall, and sport their usual massive size in the trenches, making the Wildcats a team to watch this fall.

William Byrd beat Northside in a doubleheader regular season finale tonight, 25-17, 23-25, 15-11 in the first game and 27-25, 25-21 in the second.

Rockbridge County volleyball has sure made a name for itself in recent years, and 2021 has been no exception.

Lexington, Va. – It is a collision that will decide the Valley district, and include playoff implications in Region 3C. Undefeated Rockbridge County travels to undefeated Turner Ashby. Rockbridge is already 4-0 in the District, and they have clinched a playoff berth. A Wildcats win would clinch a home playoff game, in addition to the district title. Brookville, Rockbridge Co, Turner Ashby, Heritage and Liberty Christian are the top five teams in Region 3C entering the final week of the regular season.

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. – Rockbridge County keeps winning, moving to 5-0 on the season after Friday night’s 35-19 win against Harrisonburg. The Wildcats will next play Thursday night against Turner Ashby with the Valley District title on the line.
