It’s the season of giving and you’ve probably noticed Red Kettles and bell ringers in front of some of your favorite stores.

It’s the season of giving and the Salvation Army of Roanoke is hoping those who are able will donate to their Red Kettle Campaign, which directly supports local families.

You can volunteer to ring the bell by calling Price at 540-343-5335.

We’re told they average about $95,000 each year.

ROANOKE, Va. – The Salvation Army desperately needs your help this holiday season. COVID-19 is restricting the Red Kettle fundraiser, the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, because there are smaller crowds at stores and people don’t have cash or change.
