HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Authorities say no foul play is suspected after a man’s body was found behind a Henry County KFC last month. On Nov. 23, deputies said they received a 911 call at about 7:00 a.m. for a dead person behind the KFC at 3500 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville. The medical examiner’s office has identified the person found as Joseph Denoto, 40, of Ferrum. According to the medical examiner’s office, preliminary autopsy results showed no apparent signs of foul play or homicide. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to reach out to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751.

HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Henry County authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found near the dumpsters of a KFC on Monday morning. At about 7 a.m., the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center received a call about the man’s body. Members of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene where they found it in the rear parking lot near the dumpsters. The cause of death is currently unknown; however, evidence at the scene could indicate a possible drug overdose, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751.

ROANOKE, Va. – Licking one’s fingers while eating isn’t the most hygienic advice right now and the fast-food restaurant that’s lived by that motto for 64 years agrees. Starting Monday, KFC suspended its iconic slogan because it “doesn’t quite fit the current environment,” according to the restaurant officials. KFC’s worldwide advertising will not include this language until further notice. Don’t worry, chicken lovers. The restaurant said the slogan will not be gone forever but it will come back “when the time is right.”A new slogan has not yet been announced.

(CNN) - Taco Bell is debuting a vegetarian section on its newly redesigned menu, which also includes two new items. Those are in addition to its two other existing vegetarian options that will be displayed prominently in a new "Vegetarian Favorites" menu. In total, there are more than a dozen vegetarian items on Taco Bell's menu. Taco Bell emphasized that non-vegetarian items can be made vegetarian by substituting beans for meat. EDEN, N.C. - North Carolina police say nobody was inside a KFC restaurant when it was destroyed in an overnight explosion. Police responded to the blast in Eden, North Carolina, around 1 a.m. Thursday. Eden Police photos show the collapsed building with debris scattered on the road and throughout the parking lot. The manager reportedly tried to turn off the gas nozzle and call for help, but it was too late.

EDEN, North Carolina - A suspected gas explosion destroyed a KFC restaurant in North Carolina early, Thursday morning. A manager told police he and others smelled gas as he was closing the restaurant in Eden, just south of the Virginia border, CNN affiliate WGHP reported. The manager called the gas company and tried to shut off the nozzle before the explosion. "We've actually searched the building and no one is inside the building which is great," said Eden Police Chief Greg Light told WGHP. The exact cause of the blast is uncertain, but a gas company plans to check the pressure in the gas line.
