The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation (GLCF) recently announced the recipient of its sixth annual $100,000 Century Fund Grant, awarded to the Altavista Area YMCA.

The Downtown Lynchburg Association (DLA) has announced the return of Launch LYH, a program aimed at revitalizing the heart of Lynchburg by supporting entrepreneurs eager to start, relocate, or expand their businesses in the downtown area.

The GLCF announced that it had awarded over $575,000 in Spring Grants and received 79 applications.

Pulling for the Hokies and Flames now has another important purpose--Funding local non-profits.

The project includes a new trail, improvements to the existing building, an outdoor classroom and a new landing for safe and easy access.
