The owner of the Natural Bridge Zoo turned herself into jail after failing to comply with a court order to surrender two missing giraffe calves to the state.

Law enforcement is searching for a wanted man out of Bedford County, Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said.

Natural Bridge Zoo owners Sasha “Gretchen” Mogensen and Karl Mogensen were in a Rockbridge County Courtroom Wednesday, where they were both found guilty of contempt of court.

A 65-year-old is dead after an apparent stabbing in Lynchburg Tuesday morning, the LPD is currently investigating.
