12 residents were displaced after 10 apartments in a Lynchburg apartment complex were damaged by a fire Tuesday, the City of Lynchburg Fire Department said.

According to officials, at least 12 residents have been displaced after an apartment fire in Pulaski on Wednesday.

A structure fire caused major damage to apartments and caused two residents to receive medical treatment for minor burns and smoke inhalation Tuesday, according to the Blacksburg Police Department.

One person remains in the hospital in serious condition following the fire that broke out at Peters Creek Apartments, according to Roanoke County Fire and Rescue.

BEDFORD, Va. – The Bedford Fire Department is investigating an overnight apartment fire on Blue Ridge Avenue. According to Deputy Chief Matt Scott, firefighters arrived on scene around 1:15 a.m. Sunday to heavy smoke coming from a two-story wood frame apartment building. The fire was contained to a bedroom in the building. It took firefighters about 10 minutes to gain control of the fire. Scott estimates the damage to be about $35,000.
