Bella Walser is a multimedia journalist for WSLS. Before joining the team, she earned her journalism degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she worked as a reporter with student media outlet CTV11 and served as Executive Producer her senior year. In that role, she led coverage of campus protests, elections, local government, and investigative stories. As a Texas native from Galveston, Bella also completed an internship with our sister station, KPRC, in Houston.
Bella has reported across both Texas and Colorado and is now excited to learn more about the Roanoke community, connect with residents, and cover the stories that matter most to Southwest Virginia.
Outside the newsroom, Bella enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, skiing, or wakeboarding. She also loves catching a movie, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
