The E.C. Glass Hilltoppers were fired up and ready to take down the Liberty Minutemen.
Liberty tried to get something going in the second quarter. Quarterback Evan Lee hit Nasear Johnson, who advanced the ball down to the 37-yard line.
The Minutemen tried a trick play. Nasear Johnson received the snap, then pitched the ball to Mason Davison. Davison launched the ball downfield to Evan Lee, who made the catch, but the drive stalled.
A few plays later, quarterback Jhalil Holloway hit Lincoln Funke on a nice 5-yard touchdown pass as the Hilltoppers secured the win, 47-16.
