Lord Botetourt stays undefeated with commanding win over Christiansburg, 42-7

Lord Botetourt has looked untouchable all season. In three games, the Cavaliers have an average win margin of 26 points. Could Christiansburg spring a surprise on the road? With a beefy rushing attack, the Cavaliers were saying, “Not today.”

Quentin Jones weaved through traffic and rolled from the 45-yard line to the end zone, putting Lord Botetourt up 7-0.

In the second quarter, Jones scored again, this time from 5 yards out. With no conversion, the score was 13-0.

Angel Rigney made his presence felt off the direct snap, cha-cha-cha’ing to the left for a 10-yard score. With the conversion, it was 21-0.

Christiansburg avoided the shutout when Jeremiah Barnes connected with Izaiah Cotto for a score. But Lord Botetourt won decisively, 42-7.
