ROANOKE, Va. – Special Olympics Virginia hosted its second-ever Plane Pull at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport on Saturday.
The event brought in over $70,000 for Special Olympics Virginia, which supports over 2,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Teams pulled an 85-ton FedEx plane, and this year, the kids joined in on the fun by pulling a Starflight plane, which is smaller in scale.
