Two Roanoke residents were arrested after a police chase in Martinsville involving a stolen U-Haul truck, according to the Martinsville Police Department.

Kalley Gabrielson, 32, was charged with felony elude, grand larceny, and destruction of property, while 24-year-old Michael Roberts was charged with grand larceny and carrying a concealed weapon.

Authorities said Martinsville Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Liberty Street after Flock cameras alerted officers that the U-Haul truck driven by Gabrielson was reported stolen out of Roanoke. Gabrielson did not stop, and the chase continued for over 10 miles before the U-Haul crashed on Bassett Heights Road in Henry County.

Both Gabrielson and Roberts were arrested without incident and taken to the Martinsville City Jail.
