Pittsylvania County officials voted 6-1 Tuesday to censure Supervisor Tim Dudley. The resolution removes Dudley from all board-appointed committees but allows him to keep his role as supervisor.

Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors member Timothy Wayne Dudley was charged after a shoplifting incident that occurred in November, Altavista Police Department said.

The Pulaski town mayor’s husband, Toan Le, has been charged with 11 counts of misdemeanor shoplifting.
