The Orlando Police Department oversees the school resource officer who made the arrest, and they say the situation was not handled properly. The statement also mentions the school resource officer in question also arrested an 6-year-old in a separate incident. "No 6-year-old child should be able to tell somebody that they had handcuffs on them,"Kirkland told News 6.
