New River Community College will be offering fall beginner motorcycle rider safety courses.

New River Community College is hosting a free first responder summer camp this week. Aims to sparks student interest in emergency services, giving students hands-on experience in firefighting, law enforcement and emergency medical services.

Elementary schoolers at Margaret Beeks Elementary School in Blacksburg got to participate in the “Beeks Book Garden” on Monday!

A recent study conducted by New River Community College shows the school contributed more than $121,000,000 to the community in 2022.

PULASKI, Va. - The town of Pulaski is teaming up with New River Community College to get into the Halloween spirit. Several windows in downtown Pulaski have been painted with Halloween designs. A New River Community College professor was looking for an art project for her students, so Pulaski On Main -- the local nonprofit that promotes the town -- suggested painting the windows. GILES COUNTY, Va. - Registration is underway for the annual Muddy ACCE Race in Giles County. The race is Sept. 21. Money from the race is used to fund two-year scholarships to New River Community College for Giles County High School graduates. We anticipate about a thousand runners this year," Giles County Tourism Marketing Director Cora Gnegy said. You can register in person the day of the race or online until Sept. 20.
