Mountain Lake Lodge staff say this boutique spa experience “combines wellness with a magical setting atop Salt Pond Mountain, offering guests a chance to unwind immersed in nature’s restorative powers.”

The spa is being built at Blueberry Ridge, which is considered the most peaceful area on the 2,600-acre property. It will be open for bookings from guests and community members seeking a retreat. The facility will feature both wet and dry saunas.

The Magical Christmas Village & Marketplace opens Saturday, November 23rd at Mountain Lake Lodge. Kicking off the event with its grand illumination at 6pm, the lodge and property will be decked out in holiday lights. Visitors from the community and hotel guests are invited on property to see the sparkling holiday lights, shop at the marketplace and see 2024′s new attractions like Marshmallow Way, the Pinecone Express, and the Holiday Mainstage.

GILES COUNTY, Va. – In the mountains of Giles County, a famous and mysterious lake that completely dried up years ago is coming back to life. However, about 12 years ago, the lake dried up completely. This summer, Mountain Lake is coming back to life and has risen to about one-third full. Mountain Lake in Giles County is about one-third full and seems to be holding its water levels. “Mountain Lake has been doing great for several years.”With or without the lake, guests said they still plan to return.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE: The National Weather Service has expired the tornado warning early. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for parts of Roanoke and Montgomery counties. At 3:37 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Huffman, or near Mountain Lake, moving southeast at 35 mph. PEMBROKE – Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke has been named “Hotel of the Year” by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association which annually recognizes the best among the State’s hospitality and tourism industry.
