The Glass and Salem high school football teams are gearing up for a rare regular-season showdown this year, reigniting a rivalry that dates back more than a century.

Our Game of the Week for week nine takes us to William Fleming, where two teams, on a grind to be the best, meet with big Blue Ridge District implications on the line.

Our Game of the Week takes us to Vinton for a much-anticipated game between the Terriers and Colonels.

We saw nothing but fight from the G.W. Danville Eagles Friday night and they got the win, 42-36.

The Golden Eagles shut out Tunstall, 45-0.

E.C. Glass and Patrick Henry are coming off wins in week one. For this week, both teams are looking to go 2 and 0.

Two powerhouse football teams went head-to-head here in Lynchburg as both teams looked to start their season 1 and 0 but in the end, the LCA Bulldogs pulled off the win in what turned out to be a physical football game.

Narrows pulled away with the win, 47-19. The Green Wave are Pioneer District champs.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. – Brookville defended its home Friday night with a win over Amherst County in our Game of the Week.

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – In our Game of the Week, the Radford Bobcats left no doubt as to who the better team was on Friday night. Late in the third quarter, they scored to take a commanding 46-0 lead and would go on to only allow James River to score one touchdown.
