Jalen Stubbs is a Multimedia Journalist for WSLS. He grew up in Rockville, Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from George Mason University.

 Prior to joining WSLS, Jalen worked at WRC-TV in Washington, DC as a Production Assistant and Desk Assistant. While at WRC, he covered the 2024 Paris Olympics, 2024 Election, Washington Commanders, Washington Spirit, A Capitol Fourth, DC protests, and various DC community events. He also had the opportunity to interview Olympic gold medalist, Shawn Johnson East and Olympic triathlete, Taylor Knibb.

While at George Mason, Jalen served as the Managing Editor, Sports Editor, and News Anchor for the student media program. He was also the Director of Communications for the Black Male Success Initiative and a Student Ambassador for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at George Mason. He emceed events such as the GMU Community and Catalyst Awards and 2023 CHSS Spotlight. Jalen is a member of the Washington Association and National Association of Black Journalists.

During his free time, Jalen likes working out, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
