VSP: Missing Roanoke boy found safe

ROANOKE, Va. Update:

Virginia State Police has canceled the CODI alert for Kashmir Williams after authorities confirmed he was found safe

Update:

The VSP announced Wednesday night that it was issuing a CODI alert on behalf of the Roanoke City Police Department. Williams is 5′0, weighs 98 pounds and has brown eyes.

VSP says the disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety as determined by the agency.

The Roanoke Police Department announced Wednesday that it was seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 11-year-old boy who was last seen Wednesday night.

According to RPD, Kashmir Williams was last seen at 7:20 p.m., leaving his home in the 3800 block of Long Meadow Ave. NW wearing a red sweatshirt and tan pants with silver shoes.
