LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department announced Thursday night that officers were currently on the scene of an “active incident” in the 1600 block of Florida Avenue. LPD says there is no active threat to the community.
Officials are urging the public to seek alternative routes as Florida Ave. is closed.
