SALEM, Va. – More than a week after his death, people are still coming together to remember conservative voice Charlie Kirk.
The Community Church in Salem held a memorial for Kirk, saying they wanted to honor him for his commitment to conservative values and religion.
“I felt it on my heart and a need for this community to come together to share love, to spread love — to create a community right here in the Star City, right here in the Roanoke Valley, where we can all show each other a level of respect, a level of love, and a level of care," Tyler Woody, vigil organizer, said.
The right-wing founder of Turning Point USA was fatally shot last week while giving a talk at Utah Valley University.
